So my ex text me today: "Hey i just wanted to say thank you!! Its just me, i'm sorry i need the numbness!"
We've been broken up for almost 3 weeks, and she has been a bitch the whole time. So text back "For what?"
And in response, she calls me. Says it's so good to hear my voice, says she wants to be my friend, starts having a jolly ol' conversation with me like everything's okay... now i'm guilty for playing like everything's fine and having a friendly conversation right back, because i go weak for that girl, unfortunately... She says it's just her, she wasn't happy within herself, and she knows i tried to make her happy, but it couldn't work, because she has to work out herself before she can truely be happy. So i ask her why she left me for someone else if she knew it was within herself that she wasn't happy. She claims she didn't leave me for someone else and "it wasn't even that". And no one will ever treat her as good as i did (which is true, i treated her like royalty, but she was just using it as a line), and she'll never be able to be like she was with me, there's no one else that she can be spaztic and herself around (too bad i couldn't be spaztic and myself around her), and who else will she stay out at a star party til 4 in the morning with? okay, lets say i believe you "then why did you jump directly into the arms of someone else?" well apperantly, it "wasn't even that" and anyways "she's being a bitch right now and flirting with some guy" oooh, i get it, that's why you called, not working out is it? that's brilliant. but of course she still wants to be my friend, "i like being friends with my ex more than i liked being with her" "i don't know, i really liked being with you" oh, and on top of it, she had the nerve to ask for the $1,400.00 ring i bought her back. why? "because i still care about you and consider us friends, it still has meaning to me." yeah, well that wasn't the meaning it was meant to have. sorry.
